Ashley Hebert - Episode 6

On last nights episode the crew headed to Hong Kong, China to continue on their quest to finding true love.

But more on that after we witness the return of...Bentley.
You can watch the entire return here.  You can tell Ashley still has feelings for Bentley, but he just has no interest whatsoever.  Sad.  He pretty much just wanted a free vacay to Hong Kong.  You should've picked up the phone and called, Bentley.  Now Ashley looks like a fool.

Now that Ashley can finally move on she takes Lucas out on a date.
They walk around the streets of Hong Kong and try out some local food.  After that they head over to a pier to see the city skyline the best way there is.  On a boat.  They shared their first kiss together and then she gave him a rose.  Then they danced the night away.

On the group date, Ashley invited along Ryan P., Blake, Constantine, Ames, Ben F., and Mickey.  The guys had to rally up a Dragon Boat Racing team of complete strangers they met off the street.

Once they had assembled their team of strangers the race was on!
Ashley hopped on one of the boats for moral support.
Ames and Mickey's team won!  Look at how hard they worked.
At the end of the date Ryan P. was awarded the rose.  The other guys weren't very happy about that because Ryan's happiness makes them angry.  They want Ashley to see Ryan for the goofball he is, but apparently she doesn't.  Can't say that I blame her.  I think he's a nice enough guy so far.

The final one-on-one date was with J.P.
Ashley felt bad that their last one-on-one was tainted by Bentley leaving her.  So, she gave him another one.  They enjoyed a nice dinner in a park.  Then Ashley felt it would be necessary to open up to J.P. about Bentley's return and let him know that she's moved on from him.  J.P. takes the news well and appreciates her honesty with him.  In the end he gets a rose!

The other guys are not so kind about the news of Bentley's brief return.  Ashley plans on telling all of the guys about Bentley at the final cocktail party before the rose ceremony.  The overall reaction from them is anger.  They felt like she should already be moved on from Bentley because he left her over a week and a half ago.  They feel like Ashley is wasting their time and efforts to woo her.  Most of them get over the shocking news except for Mickey.  Mickey says to Ashley "I don't know what you saw in Bentley.  If that's what you're looking for in a guy, please send me home."  So, Ashley tells Mickey to take the initiative and send himself home.  So, he does.  Mickey is sent off on his own private boat home.

The two guys not moving "foward" with Ashley are Blake & Mickey:
Next week they're off to Taiwan!

Ashley Hebert - Episode 5

Another episode in wonderful Thailand!  Tonight the guys took a short flight up to Chiang Mai, the largest and most culturally significant city in northern Thailand.

Her first date was with Ben F.
They jumped into a taxi and headed to a shopping market in central Chiang Mai.  They painted pretty umbrellas.  They shared a "mental kiss" by a Thai Temple.  Then enjoyed a romantic dinner in a candlelit flower patch.  Ashley enjoyed their time together so she gave him a rose!  She said that Ben just said everything that she wanted to hear. (which could also raise some red flags, but who knows?)

Then on the group date, love is worth FIGHTING for in Thailand!  Ashley takes Constantine, Ames, Nick, Blake, Lucas, Ryan P., J.P., and Mickey out for some Muay Tai training.  The guys are put through 3 brutal hours of training and are sweating like crazy.  Just when they think they are exhausted Ashley lets them know that they will be going to a public fighting ring to fight each other in combat.  Yay!  Way to go ABC.  You've managed to pick yet another terrible date idea for this season.  Each of the guys is paired up with another to fight out their frustrations, but Ryan P. took things a little too far when he gave Ames a CONCUSION!  Ames kept saying that he was ok, but Ashley could tell that something was wrong.  He had a very glazed over look on his face.  So, she pulled aside the ABC producers and they had Ames taken to the hospital.  It turned out he just had a mild concusion and was fine.  On the group date Blake was the one that won the rose!

The final date of the night was the dreaded two-on-one.  She takes two guys out.  There is one rose.  One stays, one goes!  She picked William and Ben C. for this one.

As soon as William gets some alone time with Ashley he lets her know that he's overheard Ben C. telling the guys how much he's looking forward to getting back into online dating when he gets home.  Yikes.  I think dating on multiple continents beats online dating, but to each their own.  Instead of pulling Ben aside and talking to him about it she just tells him he's going home.  Poor Ben.  Now go home.

William is estatic that he has Ashley all to himself now.  They enjoy an elephant ride and dinner before Ashley decides that she's not feeling it with William either.  He's sent home before dessert is even served.  I would've insisted on taking it to go.

At the final rose ceremony the mood is tense as the guys anxiously await to see if they are awarded a rose (and a bigger slice of Ashley's heart).  In the end, she dropkicked Nick.

Next Monday they head to Hong Kong, China!  We'll also see the return of Bentley.  Can't wait for that!

Ashley Hebert - Episode 4

Tonight's episode took place in beautiful Thailand!
The guys were super excited to go and leave the L.A. mansion forever!

Ashley's first date in Thailand was with Constantine.
They were supposed to go out on a boat to a private beach, but Mother Nature had other plans for them.  Their boatman said the water was too rough to go out on the boat and that they would have to make other plans.  So, Ashley took Constantine into town and they enjoyed a shopping trip through the streets of Phuket.  By the end of the date, Ashley was impressed with how Constantine carried himself and so she gave him a rose!

This episodes group date consisted of: Mickey, Ben F., Lucas, Ryan P., West, J.P., Blake, Ben C., Nick, & William.

They had a really cool group date.  They got to visit an orphange in Thailand that had children in it that were misplaced by the tsunami that hit back in 2004.  They fixed the place up, painted it, and set-up some new beds for them.  All of the guys really enjoyed it and some were forever changed.  Tensions ran high on the date as some of the guys are starting to get really competitive and jealous of how much time Ashley is spending with other guys.  Guys are so dramatic!

The final one-on-one date went to Ames.
The first thing they did on their date was go out on a boat to tour all the small islands of Thailand.  It is beautiful there!  Then they set out in a small kayak and explored some caves together.  Such a romantic setting for a first date.  After the kayaking adventure they sat down to an intimate dinner where Ashley and Ames enjoyed deep, interesting conversation.  Ashley loved getting to know him more and was pleasantly surprised by some of the things she learned about Ames.  So, he got a rose!

During the cocktail party, before the rose ceremony, Ashley wanted to ask the guys the tough questions.  She wanted to make sure that there wasn't another Bentley hiding out in her remaining group of guys.  One big topic of the night was Ryan P.
Apparently, the guys have a problem with his happy-go-lucky demeanor.  They feel that he's happy ALL the time and just has too much energy.  I think he ruffled a few feathers during the group date, too because he's a natural delegator.

In the end, Ashley only sent one guy packing and it was West!
Next week's episode looks like another must watch!  We just may see more of our dear Bentley from Salt Lake City.  Don't quote me on that.  That's just my assumption!

Ashley Hebert - Episode 3

Ashley's first date on Monday nights episode of The Bachelorette was with Ben C.
She started it off by taking him to a dance studio and taught him a dance that she had coreographed herself.
He didn't ask why he was learning it.  He just assumed this was something she loved to do and so she made it a part of the date.  Little did he know what was in store for him!  They later went for a picnic in a shopping area and Ashley asked Ben if he wanted to start doing the dance he learned.  "Right now?  Here?"
So, they did.  And all of the sudden people that were standing around and watching jumped in there with them and they created a flash mob!
Seriously?  What a lame date.  But they seemed to have fun and enjoy it so, kudos to them.  Then they enjoyed a small concert from Far East Movement (a band).

Moving on to the group date portion of the episode, Ashely invited Bentley, William, Ryan P., Lucas, Ames, Nick, Jeff, Blake, and Ben F. along on this one.  But, first, Jeff (the masked man) had a little business to take care of.  He pulled Ashley aside before they left for the date and revealed his face to her!  Finally, the mask comes off!  And here he is ladies and gentlemen...the man behind the mask!
Is he everything you hoped for?

Moving on.  Now for the group date.  ABC decided on the WORT DATE IDEA EVER for the group date.  Really.  It was a really bad idea.  Way to set up the bachelors for failure.  Ashley took all the guys to a "Roast".  Not the kind with food.  They had the King of Roasts, Jeffrey Ross, coach the guys into roasting...who else?...Ashley.
So, the guys broke up into groups and wrote their material.  A few even had some help from the king himself.
Surprise guys!  You will be roasting Ashley in front of a live audience AND it's a sold-out show!

For the most part the guys made Ashley laugh.
Until William stepped up to the plate...
William took his routine a little too far when he said "Geeze, I signed up for the Bachelorette expecting Chantal or Emily to be here and I get here and it's Ashley!"  Boo William.  Ashley did not find that humorous.  William was so embarrased he almost wanted to leave the show, but he had a feeling that he was meant to stay so, he did.

Now we move on to Bentley's portion of the episode.  Bentley woke up the next morning and decided he wasn't attracted to Ashley at all and wants to leave.  He proceeds to tell the cameras "I'm going to mess with her head, make her cry.  I'm going to tell her I miss my daughter, but really I'm leaving because i'm not that into her."  So, he does.  He makes her cry and she's really sad.  She asks if he's going to come back and he says no.
There is more, but Bentley is not worth my blogging time.  If you want to watch the video of him dumping her, you can find it here.  That video link will tell you all you need to know about dear Bentley from Salt Lake City.

Needless to say, Ashley was feeling really beaten up about this week's events so, she wasn't too excited to have a one-on-one date with J.P. later in the episode.
She asks J.P. if he's ok with just a night in by the fire in their pajamas.  She got J.P. into his P.J.'s!  They had a nice dinner together and good conversation, but I see some red flags with this one.  I think she did, too.

There was no cocktail party before the rose ceremony because Ashley had already made up her mind as to who was going home.  She sent home Chris D. and Jeff (masked guy who is now unmasked).

Then Bentley sent himself home.  Clearly she's better off without him!
