This week's episode started with Ashley's first date card going to cheesy (yet cute) William!
William got to go on a wedding themed date in Vegas. Ashley wasn't convinced that William was ready to walk down the aisle with her so she decided to test him. First they stopped by a wedding cake shop and picked out their favorite cake. Then went into a ring shop. William had a good sense of humor about the whole thing. Ashley was shocked though that when she got him to the wedding chapel that he actually, really, said I DO! When the pastor asked if Ashley would take his hand in marriage she said "Hmm, maybe someday. But not today." After the faux wedding they scooted off to dinner. Their dinner was very unique and something that no one has ever done before. They actually ate dinner on the water in front of the Bellagio. You know, where they do all those cool water shows? Pretty romantic. At dinner Ashley and William found out that they had quite a bit in common. Both of them had father's that were alcoholics.
Second date of the evening was the group date. She took along Blake, Bentley, Ames, Constantine, Ben F., Stephen, Ryan M., Chris D., Nick, West, and Lucas. All of these guys got to jet-set down to Vegas to spend some time with Ashley. Much to their surprise they found out that they were going to be collaborating dances with the famous Jabbawockeez:
All twelve guys were split into two teams of 6. Each team had to make up a dance to impress the Jabbawockeez so they would pick them to share the stage during their performance that night. The other 6 guys had to fly home if they lost so there was a lot on the line! Both teams performed and in the end the following six guys were chosen to rock the stage with the Jabbawockeez:Bentley, Blake, Ben F., Nick, West, and Lucas. The guys did pretty good on stage and loved every minute of it.
The final date of the night was down to two guys. Ashley decided to take a gamble (since she was on a Vegas roll!) and put two of the guys faces on a coin. Whichever side the coin landed on, that guy got the last date in Vegas. It was between Mickey and J.P.. Mickey won! Which is good because he's hotter.
Everything they did on their date was determined by the flip of a coin. Kind of spontanious, kind of silly. I was surprised that Ashley even left the decision of whether Mickey got to stay or not to a coin toss. I think Mickey was a little taken back by it, too. But, she did! Lucky for Mickey it landed on the side that let him stay so, he got a rose.
Back in L.A., we almost got to see the mask guy (Jeff) reveal himself to Ashley at the cocktail party. He was finally ready to be done with the mask. Unfortunately, right before he was about to take the mask off, their conversation was interrupted by another guy. Bummer! I was shocked that Ashley didn't say something like "Um, can you wait a minute? Freaky-masked-guy is about to become freaky-un-masked-guy." But, she didn't.
I've got to mention Ashley's one-on-one time with Bentley at the party. Either ABC is editing this guy into looking like a complete jerk OR he's just really a jerk. He's blaintently open about saying that Ashley isn't his type and that she's more into him than he is in her. Wow. What a piece of work.
Tonight's fatalities were Matt, Ryan M., and Stephen.
